I’m Joy, a Los Angeles-based product designer.
I am an efficient, collaborative, and passionate individual with a can-do attitude!
I grew up in Miami and now live in Los Angeles, where I still get to enjoy the same amazing food, refreshing ocean breeze, and creative expression.
My design journey began as an event designer in Miami, Florida.
I created unique experiences using textiles, floral arrangements🌸, interactive entertainment💃, and yes even the occasional live reptile encounter🐊.
When the pandemic started, like many people I found myself with a lot of free time on my hands😅.
I started experimenting with Adobe Creative Cloud to find ways to design memorable client presentations🖼️.
This opened the door to Adobe XD...and thus opened the door to UX Design!!

I enrolled in my first UX Design course thanks to a free trial offer that landed in my inbox.

From there I continued learning, practicing, and building my toolbox of UX skills.
...and the rest is history. 😊
